My name is Riccardo Demartini but you can  call me Dema.

Eclectic, self-motivated, globetrotter and unstoppable. The research for perfection, care and tidiness are the basics of everything. Highly collaborative and motivating in teamwork. A strong leader with the ability as troubleshooter. I made my passion become my job, that’s why I work always with passion.

I am a professional freelance photographer, tattoo artist, cousine enthusiastic, I'm a  globe trotter and you can't stop me and I won't stop.
Starting in 2008, I collected extensive experience

and focused training in the photographic industry across Europe, Australia and South-East Asia.
Graduated as Art Director at “Accademia  di Comunicazione” in Milan in 2009. Straight after

my graduation, I cofounded StudioSmog, a photographic studio in the heart of Milan. One of the co-founders

was my teacher Sergio Tornaghi, an over 40 years-experienced photographer and professor of photography

at the Accademia, who contributed to increase my knowledge in the field. In a three-years-time we performed a variety of works including shooting-events and ad-hoc requests with high-level customers including Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Polo, Boggi, Playboy, Ares, IVECO Australia, Studio Avallone.
In 2012, I felt that I needed a change in my life to enrich myself as a person and as a professional. I adapted

to learn a variety of new jobs starting from Australia, then all South East Asia and I lived 6 years in Thailand. There I started to tattoo and I founded Number 29 Tattoo in Pattaya TH.

Actually I'm back in Italy and living in close to Como Lake, I have my own studio where I realize ad-hoc high quality-projects.
My Ego is based on details and beauty.
I love work with people, talk and discover their stories.

My strengths include portraits, reportages, and long expositions. Though, I have experience in fashion, advertising, still life, food, hotels & restaurants, industrial, home & interior, real estate and unconvetional pre-wedding shots. 

My toys: analogic cameras, SLRs, medium format and toy cameras, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Procreate.
